Maintenance

No race. No countdown. No pressure to peak.

Just a reason to keep showing up for yourself, even when the days get shorter and motivation gets harder to find.

Our new Maintenance plan helps you stay active, feel good mentally, and build a running habit that lasts all winter. And with Outrun the Dark, you'll have a community doing it alongside you, plus a chance to win prizes along the way!

You can join the challenge with any Track28 plan!

Available November 2.

The sun sets earlier and motivation goes with it. Outrun the Dark rewards consistency, not perfection.

Every week you run twice, you earn an entry to win prizes from our Quebec partners. 8 weeks, up to 8 entries in the draw.

How it works

  1. 1

    Join the challenge in Track28

With your current plan, or a new one, like our brand-new Maintenance plan.

  2. 2

    Run at your own pace

Move your workouts around your schedule. Missed a run? Pick it back up when you can, nothing to make up.

  3. 3

    Earn entries

2 runs a week, Monday to Sunday, earns you one entry in the prize draw.

2 runs in a week = 1 entry

Every week, Monday to Sunday, that you complete at least 2 runs of your plan, you earn one entry in the draw.

A collective goal
Whether your plan has 2 runs a week or 5, your 2nd run earns that week's entry. Running more doesn't earn more entries.
Every week is a fresh start
Missed a week? You keep your entries, and the next week is a fresh start.
Up to 8
At most 1 entry a week, so 8 over the whole challenge.

Example · after 5 weeks

4 entries: only one run in week 3

Prize draw open to residents of Canada aged 18 and over.

FAQ

Do I need to be an experienced runner?

Not at all. The challenge is open to every level: 2 runs in a week, Monday to Sunday, is all it takes, whatever your plan.

Do I have to run every week?

No. A week without a run costs you nothing: you keep your entries, and every new week is a fresh chance.

What if I get sick?

Take the time to recover. You keep the entries you've already earned.

Do I have to start the Maintenance plan?

No. If you already follow a Track28 plan, keep it. Maintenance is one more option.

Is there a distance or pace to hit?

No. Every run of your plan you complete counts the same.

I don't live in Canada. Can I take part?

Absolutely not. The group is there for those who want it.
